“Let’s Go” by Alexis Beaumont & Rémi Godin

Sometimes you just know cool when you see it – this terrific music video for French indie band Stuck In The Sound by animators Alexis Beaumont & Rémi Godin (The Rabbi’s Cat) is cool. Done primarily in beautiful, full 2D animation, Let’s Go:

Wow, really really coo! Also, at the end of the day, when there’s nothing left, there’s always Mario Kart.

What a great story and so well done. And great part when he’s running through all the trash and gets hit by the whale.

    Wonderful ironic french video
the guy runs after his dream and ignore life
get it and see earth ka-boom.
here could be “the end” but not,
they top that it with “men let’s play-station” escape…

I would’ve never expected that main character could actually be hilarious. This was awesome. I definitely had my own tiny moment of freak out when the planet exploded.

that was great, enjoyed it very much, but a total copy of that scene in Mind Game (by director Masaaki Yuasa) when he is scrambling up to get to the satellite…he even gets hit by a whale, so maybe they did it on purpose?!
