Netflix Annecy 2026 Netflix Annecy 2026

Netflix has unveiled its slate of presentations and screenings for this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival, which will take place a bit later than usual, running June 21–27.

The streamer is heading to the festival on the back of a banner year that included two Oscars for KPop Demon Hunters, 13 Annie Awards (three of them for Love, Death + Robots), and a Children and Family Emmy for Ultraman: Rising among its many kudos.

Headlining the Annecy slate is a Next on Netflix Animation session that promises a personal conversation between Brad Bird and Aardman co-founder Peter Lord discussing Ray Gunn, Bird’s 30-year-in-the-making sci-fi noir at Skydance Animation, due to hit the platform later this year.
