Artist of the Day: J. Krissis

J. Krissis is an artist who lives in Belgium. He studied graphic design and illustration.

J. occasionally creates digital paintings and sketches, but primarily draws with traditional materials. Many of his drawings and sketchbook pages are penciled and inked on paper. The work that J. shares often is partially inked with the rough pencil lines left in. The artist’s exploration of the composition is especially evident in these drawings. The inky hatching around the contours of wrinkles and folds is solidly descriptive of his imaginary forms.
