Veteran Anime Art Director Mitsuki Nakamura Passes Away

AnimeNewsNetwork.com is reporting that veteran anime art director Mitsuki Nakamura passed away on Monday at the age of 67. The Tokyo-born Nakamura got his start in animation with the Space Ace series, and went on to do background art and designs for classic anime such as Speed Racer, the first Mobile Suit Gundam series and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
