This Cosplayer Imitates CG Character Animation With Uncanny Accuracy
Plenty of animators use video reference to inspire their acting choices. SeeU flips the process: the cosplayer has taken social media by storm with her impeccable impressions of animated characters’ gestures.
SeeU hails from China and is an illustrator by profession. But online, she’s Rapunzel; she’s Mavis from Hotel Transylvania; she’s Hu Tao from the game Genshin Impact.
Not only does she nail the cosplay, she has a knack for mimicking the characters’ poses — Mavis’s especially. She appears to act them out slowly then speed her footage up, to enhance the sense of cartoon timing. Watch her below, and check out her Twitter here.
