ASIFA-Hollywood Unveils New Two-Day Animation Showcase Ahead Of Awards Season

ASIFA-Hollywood is launching a new awards-season event this fall, bringing many of the animation industry’s major studios and platforms together for two days of screenings, panels, presentations, and other programming.
The inaugural ASIFA-Showcase will take place November 14-15 at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion in Los Angeles as part of Infinity Festival Hollywood, which runs November 12-15. ASIFA-Hollywood is positioning the event as its For Your Consideration showcase and a lead-in to the 2026 awards season.
The first edition already has an extensive roster of participating companies, including Apple TV, Crunchyroll, Disney/Pixar, Disney Television, IFC, Laika, Marvel Animation, Netflix Animation, Paramount+, Sony Pictures Animation, Tierney Corp, Universal Pictures/DreamWorks Animation, and Warner Bros. Animation. Wacom is sponsoring the showcase, with additional programming and participants still to be announced.
“We wanted to create an event that belongs to the animation community and gives the incredible work being produced across our industry a place to be seen, discussed, and celebrated as awards season begins,” said ASIFA-Hollywood executive director Aubry Mintz. “The Showcase has drawn an extraordinary lineup in its very first year, and we’re excited to bring so many parts of our animation community together in one place.”
Programming will span animated features and television, with filmmakers and creative teams appearing to discuss their work. ASIFA-Hollywood says the event will include both major studio productions and independent animation.
The showcase will also double as a fundraiser for ASIFA-Hollywood’s plans to establish a second Annie Awards ceremony, an initiative intended to create additional nominations and recognition opportunities for animation artists.
ASIFA-Hollywood members will receive complimentary access to all four days of Infinity Festival, while Professional and Patron members can RSVP for the showcase in advance.
