Based in Paris and reporting to Ian Lambur, EVP of Series, Guerin will oversee Zag’s production pipeline, creative operations, and talent management. According to the company, the role was created to streamline workflows and support creative growth as the studio expands its footprint across multiple franchises and formats.

According to Lambur:

Rémi has a phenomenal track record and is wildly respected by our partners. His unique blend of creative passion and operational expertise is exactly what Zag needs as we enter our next phase of growth, and we are excited to have him leading our studio team.

Zag’s current animated slate includes the series Ghostforce and the feature films Melody, starring Katy Perry, and Carmen, inspired by former Formula 1 driver Carmen Jordá. Additional properties are in development under the ZAG Heroez banner, alongside a new preschool series. The company is also the original studio behind Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, now owned by Miraculous Corp, a joint venture between Zag and Mediawan.

For his part, Guerin said:

Joining ZAG is an incredible opportunity to work with one of the most innovative and ambitious teams in the industry. I have long admired Jeremy’s vision and the studio’s ability to create worlds that resonate with millions of fans worldwide. I look forward to empowering our artists and storytellers to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Guerin brings more than 20 years of experience across animation, comics, and television, most recently serving as head of content and studio manager at Dwarf Animation Studios. His credits include Netflix’s My Dad the Bounty Hunter and the upcoming Alien Dunk.
