New ‘Hexed’ Trailer Introduces Jodie Foster’s Witch Queen And Walton Goggins’ Three-Eyed Cat

Walt Disney Animation Studios has released an extended trailer for Hexed, offering a closer look at the magical world and characters of its 65th animated feature, set to open in U.S. cinemas on November 25.

Fawn Veerasunthorn (Wish) and Jason Hand (Moana 2) direct, with Josie Trinidad co-directing and Roy Conli and Yvett Merino producing.

New footage expands on the film’s previously announced plotlines, revealing that teenager Billie (Hailee Steinfeld) has unknowingly had her protective mother, Alice (Rashida Jones), suppress her magical powers since she was a baby through the use of a gemstone bracelet.

After discovering her abilities and crossing into the realm of Hexe, Billie finds herself pursued by Queen Celeste (Jodie Foster), a powerful ruler determined to prevent an ancient prophecy from coming true. The new trailer also introduces Beef Roger Crummchuk (Walton Goggins), a sarcastic, three-eyed cat who becomes Billie’s reluctant magical mentor.

The trailer puts much more emphasis on Hexe than the first teaser, showcasing the film’s colorful environments, unusual creatures, and elaborate magical effects.
