Responsibilities include working with Directors, Supervisors and IT to design and produce the requested style of effects and organizing and ensuring work is completed on schedule. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in animation, 2+ years of experience in Adobe After Effects and experience working within a fast-paced production environment
Position: Animation Revisionists

DHX Media is currently looking for experienced Animation Revisionists to join us on several new productions starting in September and October! You’ll be responsible for revising existing animation, completing work within a rigorous production schedule with shifting daily deadlines and working collaboratively in a team environment. A degree from a recognized animation school, previous experience animating for a 2D television series and a high level of proficiency in Flash is desired.
Position: Key Animation Supervisor (Flash)

DHX Media is searching for a Key Animation Supervisor to work with our team on an exciting new animated series for DreamWorks! Responsibilities include reviewing animatics and breaking down the board to distribute to crew, ensuring that all elements of scenes are present and maintaining show continuity before the show moves on to animation and communicating revisions required to key animators/posing artists. Qualifications include 3+ years of experience animating in a production environment, an in-depth working knowledge of Flash, experience as an animation supervisor/lead preferred as well as a degree from a recognized animation school.

DHX Media is seeking an experienced Effects Artist for a Flash Animation series for DreamWorks! A successful candidate will have solid drawing skills and the ability to work cooperatively with different departments within a fast-paced production environment. A bachelor’s degree in animation, 2+ years of work experience in Flash for 2D animation series is preferred and demonstrated experience, comprehension and knowledge of classical animation is required.

DHX Media is searching for an Animation Supervisor to ensure quality of animation for a well-known Flash series. Responsibilities include reviewing episodes with directors in the rough cut, communicating revisions required to animators and revisionists and meeting set production milestones and deadlines. 5+ years of experience animating in a production environment and an in-depth working knowledge of Flash is required. Experience as an animation supervisor/team leader preferred and a degree/diploma from a recognized animation school are preferred.

DHX Media is currently reviewing applications for Posing Artists who can find the storytelling poses from the board, put them on model and spell out complex actions in a variety of ways for the next stage in the pipeline. You will be working under the direction of the Key Animation Supervisors within strict deadlines and meeting assigned weekly quotas and expectations. Qualified applicants will have previous work experience on at least one 2D animated television series (Flash or Harmony), a strong sense of acting, staging, posing, timing and a degree/diploma from a recognized animation school.
