If you’re an animation professional or student looking for creative fuel this weekend, The Animation Showcase has just released its Annecy 2025 Highlights Collection, a streaming lineup of six of the year’s most acclaimed animated shorts from the Annecy Festival.

Available exclusively through The Animation Showcase platform, this curated selection features award winners and festival favorites, including The Night Boots by Pierre-Luc Granjon, which swept the awards at Annecy, winning both the Cristal for best short film and the audience award. Also featured is The Girl Who Cried Pearls, a new surreal fantasy from Oscar-nominated filmmakers Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski, the team behind Madame Tutli-Putli.

The collection is designed to give animation professionals and students around the world a virtual front-row seat to the most original voices in animation today.

“Year after year, Annecy continues to be the beating heart of animation, and it’s become a tradition for us to capture that energy and share it with our community,” said Benoit Berthe Siward, CEO of The Animation Showcase. “This is our way of bringing you a front-row seat to the most inspiring short films of the year and extending the magic of Annecy to creators, producers, and animation lovers around the world.”
