BloodStream Launches Animation Abomination Indie Horror Lineup (EXCLUSIVE)

Horror streaming platform BloodStream is expanding into adult animation with Animation Abomination, a curated program spotlighting independent animated horror, debuting March 20, 2026.

The lineup combines new and archival work from established animation veterans and emerging experimental filmmakers, positioning the genre platform as an alternative exhibition space for adult-oriented animation operating outside traditional studio and broadcast pipelines.

The program includes the exclusive streaming premiere of The Dumb Bunny & Jack Ass Show, an anarchic animated series from Emmy-winning animator Bill Kopp (Eek! The Cat, The Shnookums & Meat Funny Cartoon Show). Developed entirely independently, the series channels classic Saturday morning cartoon aesthetics through hyper-violent slapstick and underground satire. BloodStream will be the show’s first dedicated streaming home.

Animation Abomination arrives as more independent animators are turning to digital-first platforms for distribution, bypassing traditional gatekeepers in television and feature animation. The collection spans hand-drawn 2D, digital hybrid workflows, CG-assisted production, and stop-motion, with many of the featured films produced without institutional financing or broadcaster backing.

Beyond its headlining series, the program assembles shorts that emphasize draftsmanship, performance-driven animation, tactile fabrication, and graphic experimentation. Veteran animators appear alongside emerging voices, reinforcing how horror and experimental animation have become parallel ecosystems for adult animation outside the family-oriented mainstream. BloodStream plans to expand the collection on an ongoing basis.
