Prime Video Renews Superhero Series ‘Invincible’ For Fifth Season
Prime Video has officially renewed Invincible for a fifth season. The announcement comes ahead of the show’s fourth season, scheduled for release in 2026. No release window has been announced for season five.
Produced by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, the adult-animated series adapts Robert Kirkman’s comic book and follows teenager Mark Grayson as he navigates life with inherited superpowers. The series streams exclusively on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories.
Invincible has been one of Prime Video’s strongest performers in the adult animation category and, according to the company, season three is its most-watched animated season to date. The show has also received award recognition, including consecutive Primetime Emmy nominations in 2024 and 2025, and a Critics’ Choice nomination for Best Animated Series in 2025.
Matthew Rhys will join the voice cast for season four, joining returning cast members Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and J.K. Simmons. Other voice talent includes Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, and Mark Hamill.
The series is produced by Skybound Animation, with executive producers Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen. Helen Leigh and Cory Walker serve as co-executive producers. Several of the show’s stars can be seen celebrating news of the renewal in a video released by Prime Video today.
