Tubi Adding Titles From MeatCanyon, Explosm, Skybound, And More In Expanded Animation+ Partnership
Tubi, increasingly one of the top streaming platforms out there today for animation fans, and Animation+ are deepening their collaboration with a new slate of creator-led animated comedy titles, marking a significant expansion of Tubi’s free animation library.
The rollout introduces several established online hits to the streamer’s catalog, including The Cyanide & Happiness Show, Purgatony, The Stockholms, Monster Lab, PSI Cops, Jim Lujan’s Kounterclockwise in Foreverland, and The Legend of Bobby Churro, as well as MeatCanyon’s Melvin’s Macabre. The full slate boasts some of the top indie voices in adult animation today, many of whom come with massive built-in fan communities across digital platforms.
Animation+ co-founder and president John Fitzpatrick emphasized the strategic value of the partnership from his company’s point of view:
Tubi’s enormous reach and strong engagement with adult animation viewers make it the perfect home for these standout series. Our creator partners deserve the biggest possible audience, and our partnership with Tubi is already delivering strong engagement and revenue for our creators. We’re thrilled to see these shows reach new fans and expand the footprint of creator-led animation in mainstream streaming.
Rich Bloom, EVP & GM of Creator Programs at Tubi, reiterated the platform’s commitment to championing emerging animation voices:
We’ve seen a huge appetite for creator-led adult animation on Tubi, and Animation+ has been a standout partner in helping us bring more bold, original content to that audience. Bringing these shows to Tubi reflects our commitment to amplifying the next wave of animation talent and stories that resonate with young, culturally tapped-in fans.
With additional titles and curated collections planned for the coming months, the Animation+–Tubi partnership is one of the most exciting in independent animation. Tubi already has one of the best catalogs for older animation titles, including a ton of Warner Bros. classics, and this new expansion signals an escalating focus on creator-driven animation, particularly content that has historically thrived outside traditional distribution systems.
