First ‘Bluey’ Movie Trailer Reveals Franchise’s Move Into CG

Disney has unveiled the first footage from ‘The Bluey Movie,’ revealing the franchise’s move into CG ahead of its August 6, 2027 theatrical debut.

Blink Industries and BBC Studios Kids & Family are developing a mystery-filled animated adaptation of Mohammed’s magic-themed novels.

Produced with Wheelhouse, the 10-episode fantasy project, unrelated to the Ghibli classic, will follow young witch Kiki’s journey to Koriko.

The Emmy-winning kids’ hit ‘Bluey’ is heading to cinemas in 2027 with a feature film from Ludo Studio, BBC Studios, and Disney.

‘Bluey at the Cinema’ brings 8 hit episodes to theaters across Europe, building buzz for a 2027 movie after UK success with 400K+ viewers.

‘Bluey’ creator Joe Brumm, who will write and direct the feature, is also stepping away from the tv series.

The BBC sees another high-level departure as it shakes things up to become a digital-first broadcaster.
