‘A Strange Baby, But It’s Ours’: Phil Johnston On Bringing ‘The Twits’ To Life At Netflix

Director Phil Johnston turns Roald Dahl’s nastiest couple into a darkly funny, grotesque, and heartfelt animated adventure for Netflix.

Netflix’s Annecy event slate reaffirms the streamer’s commitment to animation in all its varied forms.

This will be Netflix’s first animated Roald Dahl adaptation since acquiring the Roald Dahl Story Company in 2021.

Dahl’s iconic works include “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” “James and the Giant Peach,” “Matilda,” and “The BFG.”
