You’re Invited To A Free ‘Ray Gunn’ Screening And Q&A With Brad Bird In Los Angeles

Awards season is in full swing, and Cartoon Brew is excited to invite you to another special For Your Consideration screening in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, November 10, we’ll be hosting a screening of Netflix’s animated feature Ray Gunn, followed by a Q&A with director Brad Bird and several key members of the film’s creative team.

Set in Metropia, a gigantic city in an alternate future as imagined from 1939, Ray Gunn follows private eye Raymond Gunn, who finds himself drawn into a case involving aliens, murder, and a multimedia star named Venus Nova.

Written and directed by Bird (The Incredibles, Ratatouille, The Iron Giant), the film marks the Oscar-winning filmmaker’s return to feature animation and brings to life a long-gestating passion project inspired by classic detective stories and science fiction.
