Conley was most recently executive producer at Wētā FX, where he worked on projects such as ‘Avatar: The Way of Water,’ ‘The Last of Us’ series, and the Oscar-winning short ‘War is Over!’
Since the VES Awards introduced its visual effects in an animation prize in 2008, 11 of the 15 winners went on to win the animated feature Oscar.
The 22nd VES awards will be presented on February 21 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
