‘Over The Garden Wall’ Gets First Officially-Licensed Figure Set And New Vinyl Soundtrack Pressing
Cartoon Network’s beloved cult miniseries Over the Garden Wall is stepping off the screen and onto collectors’ shelves. Austin-based art house Mondo has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products on the launch of the very first officially licensed figure set inspired by Patrick McHale’s Emmy-winning animated series, and the offerings are stunning.
The inaugural release in Mondo’s new figure line reimagines the show’s protagonists, Wirt and Greg, in a premium collectible format. The Chapter 1 Figure Set draws directly from the series’ debut episode, “The Old Grist Mill,” and includes swappable portraits, interchangeable accessories, and multiple capes to capture the characters’ shifting moods.
Future chapters in the series are already in development, with Chapter 2 slated to spotlight the Pottsfield Pumpkin People, fan favorites from one of the show’s most iconic and spooky storylines.
For collectors seeking exclusives, a short-run Limited Edition version of the Chapter 1 Figure Set will be offered, which includes Beatrice, the sardonic bluebird, and the menacing Dog, alongside Greg’s trusty rock and teapot.
The Regular Edition is priced at $95, while the Limited Edition is set at $135. Both versions go on sale on September 25 at 10:00 a.m. PT via Mondo’s online store.
The release coincides with another collectible milestone: the debut vinyl pressing of the series’ acclaimed soundtrack. Composed by The Blasting Company, the score will be available in an appropriate “Potatoes & Molasses” colorway, retailing for $35, with artwork by Sam Wolfe Connelly.
