Dreamworks Animation’s “Puss in Boots” Charms Its Way Into Imax October 28

IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX) (TSX:IMX) and DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq:DWA) today announced that the 3D animated adventure Puss in Boots, featuring the world’s most famous boot-wearing hero, will open in 268 domestic IMAX(R) theatres Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, simultaneous with its North American wide release. The film will also open in at least 47 IMAX theatres internationally, with 24 theatres releasing day-and-date. Additional international playdates are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Directed by Chris Miller (Shrek the Third) and featuring the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thorton and Amy Sedaris, this is the origin story of the popular feline.
