Japanese Anime/Manga Artist Hisao Maki Passes Away

Animenewsnetwork.com is reporting that manga/anime creator Hisao Maki passed away earlier this week at the age of 71. Maki, who’s birth name was Matsuchi Takamori, was best known as creator of the manga series WARU and co-creator of the anime Joe vs. Joe (Futari no Joe in Japanese).
