On their way to becoming the second highest-grossing animated film of all time, the Minions participated in more than their fair share of nutty marketing gimmicks.

Pretty much the only place they didn’t venture were the Abrahamic religions, but that changed this holiday season when the Minions got their menorahs lit in at least two different cities. The Minions’ Chanukah (on ice, no less) took place in both Vancouver and Boston. One can only imagine what religious scholars will make of these posters when they’re unearthed sometime in future millennia.
