‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ Expands With Netflix Companion Series ‘Doozie’s Doghouse’

DreamWorks Animation and Netflix are giving Gabby’s Dollhouse character Doozie her own series. The seven-episode Doozie’s Doghouse will premiere globally on Netflix on November 9.
Mixed-media like its predecessor, the companion series follows Doozie, voiced by Celestina Harris, as she explores her doghouse with her best friend Puggie Paws and a cast of canine characters. Like Gabby’s Dollhouse, the new show will center on imaginative play and unboxings. Each episode runs 22 minutes.
Gabby’s Dollhouse creators Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey created the spinoff and serve as executive producers. Johnson’s credits include Blue’s Clues and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood; Twomey also worked on Blue’s Clues and Team Umizoomi.
The announcement follows the debut of Gabby’s Dollhouse season 14, which reached Netflix’s global top 10 for kids, according to DreamWorks. The studio says the first 13 seasons have accumulated more than 670 million views since 2024.
