‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II’ Takes Us Back To Night City In Brutal First Trailer

Netflix has released the first full trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II, offering a glimpse at Studio Trigger’s return to the neon-soaked world of Cyberpunk 2077.

Rather than continuing the story of the original series, the new 10-episode anime tells a standalone tale with an entirely new cast of characters. Watch the trailer below.

Set to premiere this fall, Edgerunners II follows “a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge” in Night City, where violence has become entertainment and survival often depends on becoming part of the spectacle. According to the official logline, the series asks: “When the world is blinded by spectacle, what extremes do you have to go to make your story matter?”

Bartosz Sztybor returns as showrunner, with Studio Trigger once again handling animation. The first season became a breakout hit for both Netflix and CD Projekt Red, helping reignite interest in Cyberpunk 2077 after its 2022 debut.
