Nickelodeon Reveals ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ First Look At Comic-Con
Nickelodeon has unveiled a first look (seen above) at Avatar: Seven Havens, the newest animated chapter in the Avatar universe, following the acclaimed series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. The reveal took place during a special 20th anniversary panel at San Diego Comic-Con, celebrating two decades of Avatar storytelling.
Seven Havens introduces a fresh narrative centered on twin Earthbenders. When one of the sisters discovers she is the new Avatar, the sole being capable of mastering all four elements, her destiny is anything but traditional. Set in a post-cataclysmic world teetering on collapse, the Avatar is no longer seen as a savior but as a harbinger of destruction. Pursued by both human foes and spiritual forces, the twins must uncover the secrets of their past while striving to restore balance to the fractured world.
Concept art released at the event shows the young Avatar trekking through a rugged desert landscape, accompanied by a unique creature that appears to be a hybrid of a cat and lemur. Another companion walks beside her, while a distant city glows under a sky streaked with mysterious lights.
The anniversary panel featured returning stars from the original shows, including Janet Varney (Korra), Dante Basco (Zuko), and Mae Whitman (Katara), along with series creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino.
Fans can also look forward to The Legend of Aang: The Last Avatar, an upcoming animated feature set to hit theaters on October 9, 2026.
