‘Baby Shark’ Creator The Pinkfong Company And Japan’s TBS Team Up For New Animated Series ‘Kikipuppup’
The Pinkfong Company, best known for creating Baby Shark, has announced its latest original animated series, Kikipuppup, co-produced with Japan’s TBS Television. The slapstick comedy premiered in English on YouTube on October 31, and its first episode has already accumulated more than 93,000 views. A TBS television debut is slated for 2026.
Episode one can be seen here:
Kikipuppup follows Kiki, a confident cat with flair, and Puppo, an upbeat dog who finds joy in the simple things. Together, they navigate playful rivalries and heartfelt moments with their grumpy foil, Vex. Each three-minute episode will blend kid-friendly humor and everyday emotions in stories about friendship and growing up.
The new series represents the latest milestone in Pinkfong’s partnership with TBS, expanding their collaboration following the successful Japanese broadcast of Bebefinn. The show will launch simultaneously in Japanese, Korean, and English, as Pinkfong continues its efforts to connect with families worldwide.
“We’re excited to introduce Kikipuppup as the newest addition to our growing lineup of original animated series,” said Gemma Joo, Chief Business Officer at The Pinkfong Company. “We’ll continue to reach our fans in new and creative ways through original IPs that inspire imagination and joy.”
