One thing hasn’t changed though: what drove us to start the site in 2004 and what inspires us to continue producing it fourteen years later is an all-consuming passion for animation, and the belief that this art form is the most vital and colossally important of all modern arts.

It’s especially exciting to be a part of the community at this moment in time, as the animation art form experiences an unprecedented global boom, with more people in more countries creating more animation than ever before, and more viewers consuming it across more platforms than ever before. We don’t know exactly where it’s all headed, but we hope you’ll continue with us on this fantastic animated journey.
