Disney has revealed the latest class of its annual Accelerator program, selecting four forward-thinking companies that reflect the entertainment giant’s ongoing investment in emerging technologies and storytelling formats.

The 2025 selectees include Animaj, DramaBox, Haddy, and Liminal Space. The program, now in its 11th year, connects these growth-stage companies with Disney’s internal teams to explore new forms of storytelling and audience engagement.

“The emergence of new technologies is having more impact on the entertainment industry than ever before,” said David Min, VP of Innovation at The Walt Disney Company. “With the Disney Accelerator program, we have a dedicated structure for Disney to embrace these technologies and create new storytelling experiences at the pace that our audiences expect.”

Among this year’s standouts is Animaj, a digital-first media company rethinking animation for younger audiences. Its AI-enhanced production model allows creators to deliver serialized content at speed and scale, with its programming reaching 240 million monthly viewers and generating 22 billion annual views across YouTube.

Also entering the fold is DramaBox, a mobile-first microdrama platform. With polished production values and bite-sized formats, it’s carving out a niche in the mobile-first, vertical video space.

On the tech infrastructure side, Haddy brings large-scale, recyclable 3D printing capabilities that support everything from theme park builds to set design. The potential benefits to Disney are obvious. Liminal Space is developing modular holographic LED displays that enable shared immersive experiences without the need for headsets.

“The Disney Accelerator is thrilled to welcome these four companies, who are already proving themselves to be leaders in their respective verticals,” said Bonnie Rosen, GM of the Disney Accelerator. “We look forward to seeing how they work alongside our executives to create groundbreaking entertainment experiences for Disney fans.”

The program will conclude this fall with a Demo Day at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, where participants will showcase their collaborations and innovations. Previous alumni include Epic Games, Eleven Labs, and StatusPro, some of which have gone on to form long-term partnerships with Disney.
