Psyop Group has signed a strategic representation deal with creative talent agency Free Agents as the creative production collective expands its reach across the U.S.
Under the partnership, Free Agents will represent talent across Psyop Group’s studio network, giving clients access to artists and specialists working across animation, design, live action, emerging technology, experiential projects, and IP development. Psyop says its group structure lets clients work through a single partner while drawing on talent across those disciplines.
Free Agents founder Patricia Claire has a long history with Psyop, having worked alongside the company’s founders for nearly a decade following its launch.
“What draws Free Agents to a company today is exceptional talent and a creative point of view that offers something genuinely distinctive to our rapidly transforming industry,” Claire said in a release. “Psyop Group brings both.”
She added: “It’s exciting to see that spirit entering a new chapter, with extraordinary artists at the heart of it.”
The deal is part of Psyop Group’s broader U.S. expansion. The company’s recent work has stretched beyond commercial production into original IP, including Werner Herzog’s first animation project, The Twilight World.
Psyop Group global director of new business Shannon Lewis, who has worked with Free Agents for 15 years, said the partnership will underpin a “focused, nationwide strategy for Psyop Group’s next chapter.”
“They genuinely love the art and craft behind the work,” Lewis said. “I couldn’t be more excited to partner with them again.”
