Cinderella’s Stepsisters Take Center Stage In Netflix’s Main ‘Steps’ Trailer

Netflix has released the main trailer for Steps, a Cinderella story flipped on its head by putting the fairy tale’s not-so-villainous stepsisters at the center of the action.

Directed by Alyce Tzue and John Ripa, it follows Lilith (Ali Wong) and Margot (Stephanie Hsu), two biological sisters tired of living in their well-meaning stepsister Cinderella’s shadow. When Lilith steals the Fairy Godmother’s magic wand and disrupts a Royal Ball, she inadvertently opens the door for a new villain, Priscilla (Nikki Glaser), to seize control of the kingdom.

To set things right, Lilith must reluctantly join forces with Cinderella (Amanda Seyfried) on a chaotic adventure involving biker trolls, evil henchmen, and the ominously named Screaming Woods.

The voice cast also includes Daniel Radcliffe, Young Mazino, Peter Dinklage, Bette Midler, and Damian Priest.

Produced by Amy Poehler, Jane Hartwell, and Kim Lessing, Steps will debut on November 20 with a soundtrack that features BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Rose Gray, Emei, and Seyfried, and an original score by Kris Bowers.
