Animation Coming To Netflix, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Prime Video, And More In July 2023

Looking to beat the heat this July? Crank up the AC, plop down on the couch, and boot up the smart tv because streaming platforms are bringing plenty of new and classic animated films and series to subscribers.

Among Netflix’s new offerings are several international titles including the Brazilian original series Wake Up, Carlo!, African super-hero show Supa Team 4, French feature Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, and the globetrotting adult series Captain Fell.

Disney+ is set to debut an exciting African title of its own with the sci-fi anthology series Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire. July will also see the release of the first batch of classic Walt Disney Animation Studios restored short films including The Skeleton Dance and Goofy Gymnastics.

Hulu will debut its highly-anticipated Futurama reboot, while Max gets new seasons of fan favorites Craig of the Creek and Harley Quinn.

A few notes on the list: The list includes announcements for new seasons of existing shows, however, we do not list new episode releases of existing seasons, as some streamers roll out new episodes in monthly batches. Streamers also often announce new animation releases mid-month.
