Paris-based animation powerhouse Xilam has entered the streaming arena with Toon Box, a new kids-safe, ad-free SVOD app that brings together more than 1,000 episodes, shorts, games, music, and storybooks from across the studio’s catalog.

Rolling out first on iOS across 11 territories — including the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Brazil, and Australia — the app targets kids aged 3–10 and includes offline viewing and monthly content updates. Xilam says subscribers can choose between monthly and annual plans, both of which begin with a free introductory month.

Toon Box features many of the studio’s globally recognized brands, including Oggy and the Cockroaches, Zig & Sharko, Where’s Chicky?, Mr Magoo, The Daltons, and Lupin’s Tales. The launch marks the studio’s first move into direct-to-consumer distribution, despite an enormous digital footprint of 125 million followers across major social platforms.

Xilam CEO and founder Marc du Pontavice framed the new platform as an evolution of the company’s long-running digital strategy:

The digital space has always been a cornerstone of Xilam’s strategy, and we’ve now established a very wide audience across multiple platforms and touchpoints. The launch of Toon Box is a significant milestone in our approach as we go direct to consumers for the first time – offering an ad-free, safe and engaging environment for fans to enjoy our extensive portfolio in one convenient and trusted place. Thanks to its smooth user experience, intuitive navigation and high-quality visual design, Toon Box will offer every member of the family a new way to learn and have fun within the world of Xilam.
