‘Swapped’ Becomes Netflix’s No. 10 Original Movie Of All Time With 11 Days To Climb Higher

Skydance Animation’s Swapped has entered Netflix’s list of its ten most popular movies of all time, giving animation two simultaneous entries for the first time ever.

The film has generated 139.8 million views through its first 80 days of release, placing it at No. 10. Netflix bases its all-time rankings on a title’s total views during its first 91 days, so Swapped still has 11 days to climb higher.

Nathan Greno, co-director of Disney’s Tangled, directed the fantasy-comedy adventure about two feuding species who magically swap bodies and must experience life in each other’s feathers and fur to save their shared wilderness.

Swapped joins Sony Pictures Animation’s KPop Demon Hunters, Netflix’s most-watched original movie ever with 325.1 million views. Until now, it was the only animated title in the streamer’s all-time top ten.
