This year, 113 animated shorts have qualified for the upcoming Academy Awards, and Academy voters now have access to the full lineup on the Academy Screening Room digital platform. The 113 qualifiers represent roughly a 20% increase from recent years. For comparison, 95 films qualified last year.

The qualifying shorts are divided into two batches, and voters are sent one of the two lists. In the first round of voting, members must watch at least 33% of each assigned film for it to count as “viewed.” Voters then rank their top 15 films in order of preference. Once voting closes and rankings are tallied, the top 15 shorts will move on to the shortlist.

Below, we’ve published the full list of this year’s qualified films, including their directors when that information was available to us. The Academy’s list we worked from only included film titles. If we got any filmmakers wrong, please let us know in the comments.
